Capsule collection designed in collaboration by Loreak Mendian and Mini Shop Madrid for the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.

A collaboration between Loreak Mendian, The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Mini Shop, creating a streetwear capsule based on the elements of the painting "Smoko, The Human Volcano" by Reginald Marsh from 1933 exhibited at the museum.

A play depicting Coney Island, the popular New York beach and amusement park during
the depression of the 1930s. At the time it was one of the only easy and inexpensive
means of escape and enjoyment for the crowds confined to the city. A watercolour on
masonite that perfectly depicts the chaotic activity that the painter Reginald Marsh
discovered on his repeated visits.

A small collection made up of nine pieces where the figures of the painting come to life
in the form of full-colour prints or very detailed embroidery. The classic organic cotton
T-shirts with print on the chest and back, a coach jacket and a sweatshirt in a dark navy
blue with light details, two 6-panel caps in the green and navy of the collaboration, a
100% silk scarf with the painting printed in the highest quality, socks with the typography
taken from the work and a skateboard with different colour options for the upper and
lower part creating a mirror effect where the Smoko characters seem to come to life.
