01
Name and Occupation.
Ainhoa Perez-Urdangarin. Artisan and designer.
02
Artwork or piece with which you feel most satisfied or that you believe best represents you.
The Marinel weave on stools and benches is the textile design that best represents my work. A timeless geometric design, understated and balanced with a coastal colour palette and nautical stripes.
03
Your first work.
A table constructed from wooden beams and industrial castors that I made for my home. I couldn't find a table that I liked in terms of size and design, so I finally decided to make one. It was very simple but it turned out so well that I started making furniture for friends and family and from there I gradually moved into seating and textiles.

I've just finished ‘Los Años Nuevos’, which I liked very much.

Next country/city you would like to travel to and why.
I'd like to travel to Copenhagen, I love Danish design: furniture, architecture and decoration, both
current and from the 50s. I'd be visiting and looking at houses, buildings and furniture and decoration shops... Sounds like a great plan!
